Perhaps a tad bit late sharing the Sunday Supper Class I had the pleasure of attending in September. Better late than never. Here are the photos and a little ode and adoration for my best friend - who I attended the class with.
Right before my bestest friend Rachel tied the knot - we decided to indulge in friend-staycation in Brooklyn. We made it an obligation to eat lots of food, cook meals together, make decor for the big day, and just simply chill out that last few weeks of her single-life. Rachel and I met while working for fashion label, Rebecca Taylor. Rachel is colorful where I am neutral. I am right-handed, she is a leftie. I wake up abnormally early, Rachel sleeps in. We both indulge in everything French from striped tees to cheese to Jane Birkin. Our avid love for Paris sent us to France for a summer stay a few years ago. More importantly, we love the same candies and she is a constant in my ever-changing life.
Even after a cross-country moves, illness and heart-break, job changes and drastic hair-cut ... our friendship remains. Our friendship remains a steadfast comfort for me, after life's happenings change course often. It is not ironic that I share this post along side images of a supper - like a comforting meal had in good company.

what's on the table
that matters, as
what's on the chairs."
