I am a shy bird. Don't like being the subject of photos, rarely venture out of the house, stray from talking about myself, struggle for words when asked for an interview or to talk about my work - all this often makes blog post writing seem excruciating. This post deviates from my common creations and is a step toward conquering those uncomfortable tasks mentioned above. However, one of my favorite brands asked me to share their newest collection. If you haven't heard of REFORMATION, then you best hustle over to their site and start making a wish list.
One hot July day several years ago, I was making the familiar trek from my job in Nolita through the Lower East Side, up and over the Williamsburg Bridge then home to undoubtedly stand in front of the window ac unit and lay completely still in my bed to avoid breaking a sweat. I wandered into a boutique in hopes of cooling off. Once the girl inside engaged me in conversation - it was explained to me that all that garments were constructed with refurbished fabric. I purchased my first dress from Reformation that day. It was white with a zipper running up the front. Their maxim to provide stressless style with an eco-friendly ethos pulls at my heartstrings as a textile designer that uses natural dye materials. Since that day, I have accumulated a few Reformation gems - so I am sharing them with you here along with a peek at their new wedding collection which is available today!
Full disclosure, I was asked to write about this new collection from Reformation but I whole-heartedly back this brand. And who wouldn't? Personally, I've got my eye on the Constance and Veronica dresses and few other summer staples on their site. Shout out to Miss Emma, who is now a #REFBABE.
