A plastic bag can take between 400 to 1,000 years to break down in the environment. With only 1% of plastic bags finding their way to recycling centers - most make there way to the ocean and bodies of water causing more destruction. This bag aims to promote using natural fibers like cotton and reusable bags instead of 1-use plastic bags.

The oldest cotton fabric in the Americas was found in Peru and it dates back to 6000 BCE - plastic bags date back to the 1960’s.
